Founded by George Tracey, The Soot Doctor is a professional service you can trust. After seeing homes destroyed by preventable fires caused by poorly installed heating appliances, George set out to make a difference. When it’s time to install your wood stove, gas fire, bioethanol fire, or any other heating appliance, trust the experts to do it right.
Chimney Relining Systems
A quality chimney liner can make a world of difference when it comes to safety and efficiency. Whether you’re looking to replace an old liner or install a new one, we’ll ensure your chimney is up to code and working properly. It’s all about keeping your home safe and preventing issues like leaks or carbon monoxide.
Our state-of-the-art camera inspection lets us get a close look at the inside of your chimney without any mess. We check for cracks, blockages, or damage that could cause bigger problems later. Afterwards, we give you a full report and video footage so you can see exactly what’s going on.
If you’re building or renovating, we can create a custom chimney design that fits your home perfectly. Whether it’s a new build, a renovation, or a period property, we ensure everything’s designed for maximum safety, efficiency, and style to match your home.
We specialise in restoring chimneys to full working order, from repointing brickwork to fixing cracks and leaks. We’ll get your chimney safe and sound again, so you can rest easy knowing it’s working properly and not causing any future problems.
We recommend having your chimney swept at least once a year to prevent build-ups of soot, creosote, and debris. Our team will make sure your chimney’s clean and clear, lowering the risk of chimney fires and keeping your stove running efficiently. We’re here for all your chimney cleaning needs, big or small.
Regular maintenance is key to extending the life of your stove and chimney. From cleaning to minor repairs, we offer routine checks to make sure everything’s running as it should. Keeping your chimney in top shape means fewer issues down the line, saving you time and money.
Installing a stove is a big deal – it needs to be done right for both safety and performance. We handle the whole process, from installing the stove to ensuring your chimney lining is perfect. You’ll have a stove that works smoothly and safely, without any surprises.
If you’re dealing with a stubborn chimney issue, our flue route mapping service will get to the root of the problem. Using advanced camera technology, we can find any hidden damage or blockages that could be causing issues. It’s a detailed diagnostic service that gives you peace of mind.
Managing properties means tenant safety is always a priority for landlords and councils. The Soot Doctor makes this easy with our OFTEC CD81 safety inspections. As OFTEC is now the sole registration body for solid fuel installers in Ireland, our certified specialists ensure your solid fuel heating systems are not only safe and efficient but also fully compliant with all regulations.
