We specialise in the Twinwall Flue System, which is a double-skinned, insulated chimney that’s easy to install and works in any space, even without an existing flue.
The Soot Doctor’s Twinwall Flue System offers a solution for installing fires in homes or commercial spaces without an existing or properly located flue. It allows heating or cooking with easy installation, through an external wall, and works with or without a chimney fan. The double-skinned insulation ensures safety by keeping the outer surface at a safe temperature.
The system can be routed horizontally for efficient installation, including under rooflines or out side walls. For these setups, a mechanical draw may be required, which is managed by Exhausto electric chimney fans. These ensure proper smoke management, especially in poorly ventilated areas. All installations meet RGI, OFTEC, and building standards, and are designed for easy maintenance, with a manufacturer’s guarantee.

Here’s What our Clients are Saying:
Highly recommended. John arrived on time and explained what he was going to do to sort out my blocked chimney, which was 4 stories high. He was fast, efficient, professional, and friendly. He tested everything, including the carbon monoxide alarm, before he left. Couldn’t ask for more. Very satisfied.
Sean Smyth
Many thanks for arranging recent work in our home installing a cassette stove in our fireplace. I wish to place on record the excellence of the two men who carried out the work: James and Chris. Both were courteous, friendly, helpful, and very hardworking. They cleared up dust and dirt as the work progressed and left the room in pristine condition. They also sorted out an historic blockage in the chimney to fit the flue. Anyhow, they were excellent representatives of your business. I may be back to you for one of those outdoor fires in the coming months.
Eamonn Brennan
In a culture of ‘sure it’ll do’ and the many times we are disappointed with some tradespeople — plumbers, painters, electricians, etc. — it was an absolute delight to witness the sheer professionalism, care, cleanliness, and courtesy of the people at The Soot Doctor, especially John on this occasion. I will always be happy to recommend such great people. Evonne Warnock, Foxrock.
Michael Kelly
I had an excellent experience with this company from start to finish. They helped me find the perfect product, and the gas fireplace they installed was exactly what I was looking for to finish off my sitting room. Their customer service was outstanding, providing timely estimates and accurate delivery dates. Would absolutely recommend to all.
Simon Morgan
Highly recommend. No fuss, no mess. Professional & friendly. Local Bray business set up by a firefighter/paramedic who was fed up with house fires caused by chimneys. CLEAN YOUR CHIMNEY ONCE A YEAR! The state of mine was shocking.
O.R. Melling
We had a KT chimney re-line carried out by The Soot Doctor. From the initial survey to the completion of the work, I knew we were in good hands. Excellent work completed by knowledgeable professionals. I couldn’t help but recommend their work. Thank you.
